when did you turn your heat on??
we just turned ours on for the first time last night.... i know its supossed to be like 60 degrees this weekend, so we'll end up keeping it off during the day still, but at night its nice to get that chill out!
what about everyone else?
(sorry if this has been asked already)

When it got cold. I never base my heating or cooling on the calendar. If it's cold, I turn the heat on. If the heat is on, and there was just a cold snap, then the next day the heat won't go on.
We've had ours on for a couple of weeks now.

When it started to get cold in the house. If it is a nice day, we turn it off.

We did last week. And it's a good thing we did - the motor went on the boiler. I'm glad we checked before it really got cold.

Ditto. I don't go by a date or month. When I am cold it goes on. When I am warm it goes off--

We haven't yet either. We are using a heater just in the bedroom but to sleep, it's nice to be a little cold. As soon as we feel it's cold enough, we will put it on.

I just moved into my home last week but we have been putting it on off and on...mostly at night. I don't know if its good or bad to keep going back and forth though!

We put it on a couple of weeks ago when it started to get cold. It only goes go if the temp in the house goes below what we set it at. So some days it doesn't come on.

Its been on for awhile. We have it set to go on when it goes below a certain temperature, but I have a feeling that there is something wrong with the thermostat.

It went on on October 13 - we came back from CA and it was f*cking cold in our house, so we turned it on! We have the thermostat set at 62 during the day and 65 at night and we've been comfortable and there are days it hasn't turned on.
