Stroller question

DS and DD will be 2 years apart, what type of stroller should I get? Should I get a double stroller or a sit and stand? Please recommend yours. TIA!

Re: Stroller question

I am due in 2 months and my kids will be 24 months apart. I did a ton of research---I walk a lot in our neighborhood and my DS is totally a stroller kid still---I ended up getting the BOB duallie with the infant seat adapter. For me it was down to this and the citymini double, but I ended up finding a great deal on a used BOB and couldn't pass it up. I think it depends not only on your kids but also how you want to use the stroller too. We tried out a whole bunch at BBB and my DH was totally against the front to back ones. I also decided against a sit and stand for now as it really wouldn't work well for long walks to the park. HTH!

Sorry to crash - but I had the same question. I have the BOB now and was totally ready for a duallie it but now I'm second guessing it because it's so heavy. What made you choose it over the city miny double? Also why was DH against front to back?

Re: Stroller question

i have two 17 mo apart! My DD is 27 mo old and DS is 10 mo old! And they both still use it to nap when we are out! If you are going to get a stroller, I think they might be too young for the sit and stand, your oldest will still want to sit, eat, nap! (At least mine does)

I have the baby jogger summit 360 double and love it! Side by side and still fits through most all doorways!

A few reasons.....I got the bob duallie 12" which is just over 30lbs, it weighs slightly less then the regular duallie revolution....the city mini with the infant adapter is actually almost as heavy, the infant adapter is heavier on the city mini (I also wasn't totally happy with how the carseat sits out in front of the stroller). I also wanted the option to run down the line, which you can't with the city mini. I own the city mini single and while I am happy with it, I don't love it. I feel like the seats are tighter and there was more of a recline while in the upright position on the mini (which has been the main peeve of mine about the single ever since DS has been a toddler).
DH was against the front to back bc he felt like it was hard to steer and just as heavy (if not more) and wanted both kids to be able to 'see' well. HTH!

That helped! Thanks a lot!

Re: Stroller question

I actually had the same question, DS is still a good stroller kid esp. if I ask him to sit while I shop so I don't have to chase him around. I am due in Feb I tried a lot of strollers out and so far while I was set with the sit and stand I hated how it wheeled even empty so I can't picture it with 2 kids. I really liked the city micro. seemed fairly light and easy for a double stroller. anyone have this?
