Re: how many words does your 15 month old say?
DD is almost 17 months and she doesn't say too much. Sne can say mama, dada, nana (for banana), up and sometimes repeats us.
We had DS evaluated at about this time because he was not saying much at this age. He didn't qualify for any services and started speaking much more around 20 months. Now at 3 1/2, we can't keep him quiet.

DS is almost 14 months. He says hi, bye, thank you, door, dada, and his favorite - no! At that age, they should only have about 5 words!

Re: how many words does your 15 month old say?
DD had a ton of words at that age but from what I have seen from friends and family it is common only to have a few. My pediatrician said he was more concerned with if they communicate and appear to understand you then the number of words they say.

Re: how many words does your 15 month old say?
DS had none at that age. He waved hi, babbled, and he understood a lot of words, but I don't think he was saying any at that age. Possibly mama, but that would be about it.
He did wind up needing speech therapy, but I know a lot of people (especially boys) who didn't say much until after 18 months. So I don't think there is much to worry about until then, especially if you think DC understands some things you say.

Re: how many words does your 15 month old say?
Ds is 16 months and he says: mama, dada, book, boat, bus, duck, nana (banana), ball, truck, car, cat, ba ba (sippy), pop (for poppy- his grandfather), up, dat (that), and I can’t think of what else.
As long as they can communicate and understand what you say, i wouldn't worry.
They typically have a word explosion around 18 months.

Re: how many words does your 15 month old say?
DS hardly said anything at 15 months. He said dada and the occasional mama.
He really had a word explosion between 17-18 months and it just continued growing from there.

Re: how many words does your 15 month old say?
Mine didn't say any that you would understand.
He had an explosion about 3 days before he turned 18 mos. I was going to call EI if he didn't start by 18 mos (per ped recomendation)
I got DS some flash cards to work with. He recongnized the CAT, DOG, FISH
I put a few out and said find the DOG and he would
Then I'd repeat dog 3x with him
I practiced talking in the car to/from daycare.
ETA: He liked playing w/ the cards. I gave him some of the big words he didn't need to know as soon - TRACTOR is still one of his favorite words at 21 mos.

Re: how many words does your 15 month old say?
Abby is a drop over 14 months and says:
up down book ball dat (that) uh-oh (counts as a word - an interjection - and she uses it properly) dada mama
She also says "ooh" and "oh" when she sees something new or of interest and "mmm" when she eats something.
I know I am leaving a few out.

Re: how many words does your 15 month old say?
Neither of my DC said much at 15 months.
DD only said Mama, Dada, baby (I was pregnant) and uh-oh. She didn't have a word explosion until 20 - 22 months. ETA: she was evaluated a few months ago (almost 3 years old) for stuttering and her vocabulary tested out at 5 years 10 months.
DS only says Mama, Dada, uh-oh and a few sounds that only me and DH understand (ayyy - for Hi, da do for thank you, etc.) and he's 17 months.
I'm not going to worry about it until he's closer to 2.

Re: how many words does your 15 month old say?
Kiera, who is now 5, spoke a lot at 15 months. I can't remember specifically how many but I remember it was a lot.
Xander is now 17 months and he is just now really starting to put a decent amount of words together. At 15 months he pretty much only said dada, mama, nana (my mom), nananana (for banana), dog and something that sounded like duck. Now at 17 months he says all of those plus down, hi, this, and moo. He babbles non-stop and completely understands us and is able to follow one direction, like bring the book to mommy. He also says more in sign language and will nod and shake his head at appropriate times.

Re: how many words does your 15 month old say?
I'm not sure if I remember exact words but my son babbled constantly at that time. There was a lot of incoherent stuff. At 2 he says enough that I am certainly not worried and most of it is pretty clear.
