So when do you consider it 'cutting a tooth?"

Like, when do you note it in the baby book that your DC got their first tooth?

Riley's is seriously coming through!Chat Icon Chat Icon You can see the very top of the tooth appearing...and you can feel the ridges!!!

So...do I mark it in the book today? or do I wait til you can see it when she smiles?Chat Icon Chat Icon TIA!

I considered her as having a new tooth when I could feel it. Before then, I considered it coming in. But I also never kept track of dates of teeth.

and my Chat Icon#2 (at 4 months) loved when I rubbed her gums while she was teething. I was rubbing it one day and felt it cut through and poke me. So I counted that day as the day. It looked like this:

Sounds like my DD. She got her 2 bottom teeth in at the same time at 11 1/2 months and then all of a sudden teeth popped up like crazy. About 3 weeks later ALL FOUR TOP TEETH CAME IN AT ONCE!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon It was insane. Now she is starting to get her 1 year molars. The fun never ends!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Mine were early teethers too. It worked out great because they both had all their teeth by 16-18 months old. My oldest had 18 teeth at 12 months and my youngest had 16 teeth at 12 months.

WOW! I kind of figured that since he has nothing yet, when they do come they will all come in back to back...... IDK if I am ready for that!
