Living Room Befores & Afters
It still needs decorating and finishing touches, but we finally moved in and I am so proud of how the room turned out (smooth walls and ceilings! Horray!) Thanks for looking :)

Re: Living Room Befores & Afters
Can I ask where you bought your wood floor? It is wood, right? What brand and name is it?
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Living Room Befores & Afters
THANKS EVERYONE!
SCOTT: those were underneath the rugs! They practically looked like that when we took up the rugs. We did refinish them anyway though.
We did buy quarter round (for radiant heat) white oak wood floors for our entry hall & dining room at Family Lumber in Farmingdale.

Re: Living Room Befores & Afters
Here is the quarter round in the dining room -- a lot LESS variation than standard white oak. I like the quarter round better, but many people have told me they like variation in my living room. So it's a personal preference.
Here is the before, gotta love shag in the dining room!
