Painting the LR and Kitchen one color?
We have a small 3 bedroom ranch. The living room and the kitchen are basically all open to one another. Right now, we have the living room a tan color and the kitchen a blue color. But, we are considering painting it all one color. Would this look okay? Can you post pics of your paint colors if you have two rooms open to one another.

We live in a 2 bdrm coop and our kitchen is open (bc the wall that was there was knocked down and we have a breakfast bar) to our dining room and living room .... we had the same issue...we ended up painting it all one color
Another option (which we considered doing recently) is to get colors in the same "family"...like free color swatches have 4 or 5 different shades from light to dark on them....you could do a main color and then a darker accent wall in one of the rooms...I like this idea and may do it at some point. HTH

Ours is all the same color bc they are open to one another.....

Check out young house love blog (the one JLDolphin always tips us off about) they did a post about painting their whole house in only 2 colors I think. They said it made the house feel much more cohesive. They have tons of pics on there.
