A Question for Those Who Use Medela Pumps

I currently own a Playtex Embrace. I bought it for 80 bucks, brand new on craigslist before DD was born, feeling like spending 300 bucks on a Medela was not a great idea, since I wasn't sure if I would be able to BF.

Eight months later, DD and I are still going strong...but my Playtex is not! I found someone on craigslist who is selling their Medela In Style double pump for a reasonable price.

Here's my question...it has only been used for 3 months. I know people who have used Medela pumps for years..but I just wanted to check with you ladies to make sure buying it was a good idea. Is 3 months an okay amount of time for it to have been used? I know I have to buy the accessory kit to go with it, but the price is really reasonable.

I just sold mine. I had used it for about 3 months. It still works.

I say go for it. As long as it's reasonable enough that even adding on the new tubes and shields is worth it. (And make sure you know where to buy new tubes and shields. They aren't as easy to find at times.)

Mine worked well for a year. (And I'm keeping it for the possibility of #2 down the road.)

I've been using mine to exclusively pump for 7 months now (4-6 times/day), and it's still going strong. So I say go for it, if the price is reasonable enough.

I used mine for one year and it was still going strong. Keeping it as I hope to use it with # 2, and maybe more, someday! LOVED it.

I have a Medela PISA & used it exclusively for a year w/ DD. I'm now on month 5 with DS & it's still going strong. I'd highly recommend it
