Another Breast Pump Question...specifically Medela
Sorry to bombard you all today but...if you used the Medela Pump in Style.
Which accessories do you recommend purchasing?
I'd like to add them to the registry.

I only used it for about 2 months, but the steam bags came in handy, as well as new hoses ((those things grossed me out)). Also lanquish ((something like that, i can't remember)) cream, and the pads.

If you will be going back to work vs SAHM, the steam bags are the best for cleaning pump parts in the office. The Lansinoh cream you should get a free sample of in the hospital (then accidentally misplace it and get a second tube) - that should be all you will need - don't buy it, and don't register for it. The only other thing is pads to protect from leaks.

I BF and then pumped 3x a day once I went back to work. I wound up purchasing 2 extra sets of the horns, flanges, and bottles. I HATE cleaning the things, so by having 3 sets, I only had to do one big wash every night.
ETA: I also wound up buying the car adapter because we were traveling ALOT when DD#1 was born and I wound up needing to pump quite often while we were on the road.

definitly the bags, extra horns, extra membranes. I use the wipes when i pump in the car.

I would definitely get extra sets of pumping parts. They are a PITA to wash. I have 4 sets of them! You'll also want extra bottles and bags if you plan to freeze and store.
