Does anyone have or know of anyone who.......
May have a Queen Size mattress that they are lookin to get rid of OR sell.. I can pay a nominal amount.. The bed that was given to me when I first moved into my home just collapsed and the matress has a HUGE indent in it and I can't sleep on it anymore !!

There are also outlets around- there used to be one in Levittown that's unfortuntately gone. But I'm sure there are others. My mom got me a new mattress for a great price. Good luck!
Also try freecycle.

I have no idea of prices but I seem to recall people saying that the mattresses at Ikea are pretty nice.

try macy's clearance center in carle place. i was just there the other nite and saw tons of mattresses. didnt check the prices because i dont need one but im sure u can get a great deal!

Seriously, be REALLY careful with a used mattress. There is a huge issue with bed bugs in Nassau County. I would not recommend getting one from anyone unless you really know the person.
