TMI Question re: CM
For some background, today is CD40 so forget about falling into any regular O pattern. However OPKs are getting darker, although def not + yet but maybe later today or tomorrow. I havent had any EWCM at all this cycle.
Ok sooo DH and I BD’d a bunch this weekend.  . At around 10 I went to the ladie’s room (sorry for the graphic TMI..) and there was a big piece of CM on my undies. At first I figured it was leftovers and not EWCM but the texture made me think differently. Usually for me when its leftovers its kinda watery and stretchy but not like super stretchy. This was so rubbery and stretchy that I was actually able to peel it off my undies in 1 piece. And then it stretched about 2.5-3 inches. Unfortunately I am at work so I was unable to do the water test on it to see if it floated or not.. but it def was more consistent with EWCM than with BD leftovers that I’ve had the last few weeks. Anyway I havent had any more since which kinda makes me think it was leftovers.. I guess ill see if I have anymore later today… but im REALLLLLY hoping its EWCM since that is my primary sign that actual O is near, as opposed to the wet CM ive had over the last 3 weeks.
Wow I never in a million years though I would dissect the weird stuff that comes out of me… oh the joys of TTC

ususally left overs for me is wet panties nothing like EWCM so it is most likely EWCM since your OPKs are slowly getting +

From my experience, "left overs" tend to be more white, opaque and don't stretch as much.
Also, this cycle I didn't see any real EWCM until the day I got my positive OPK. So hopefully you'll get a positive too!

It was def whitish and not clear. But my definite EWCM from last cycle was also whitish. I hope that’s really what it was although I havent had any since that one time this morning which makes me less hopeful.

It sound like it is EWCM! I have had that for 2 or 3 days now and I am on day 22....but I have no positive OPK!!!! Mine keeps getting a tad darker but that still means negative....I thought maybe I was overanalyzing and used a digital and still got the negative!!!! I totally understand what you are going through.....you never know when to test!!!!! So annoying, I don't even fit on any of the stupid charts bc my cycle is so da*n long!!!! I would BD anyway...you never know!

I have the same thing going on with the OPK's as you are. I had EWCM this past wednesday and thursday but negative OPK's and I am testing twice a day and I was around CD 22 also---we BD'd just in case. I am waiting to see how long my cycle is this time around since this is only my second month off the pill.

My intuition (or  - whatever you want to call it) told me to go out during lunch and buy OPKs.. (I know that sounds bonkers but on weekdays I rarely get to test at ideal times – in the morning its FMU which I don’t like testing with, and at night when I get home from the gym I have already consumed 1+ bottles of water right before POAS so I never fully trust the results).
ANYWAY long story short I went out and bought OPKs – the kind PO kind, not the dip strips that I use at home. And I got this, which pretty much looks + to me..
What do you all think (test line is on the left)? If not + then maybe tomorrow will be.

Hello,
I don't think it's positive yet. The line is not as dark as the control line. Tomorrow probably.
This may sound stupid, but if you take the test and turn it upside down, you can actually see better if it's positive or negative. I don't know why, but you can see that it is lighter. For some reason it always worked for me. LOL!

I am not sure if it is positive or not but I would BD anyway---it looks pretty close and like you said---you drink tons of water so maybe it is a little "watered down". Since I have yet to get a positive on the OPK's any time it was dark this time around I BD'd just in case
