If you have glass shower doors...
how often do you clean them? Am I really supposed to wipe them with glass cleaner every day? Is there a secret product I can use to make them not get streaky and water-marked?

Ummmmmm - I clean them about once a month, maybe once every month and a half. We have A LOT of glass too.
I always rinse them (with the handheld) after showering (DH too). So we really don't have a lot of soap scum - mostly just water spots....
I squeegee like the first two days after I clean them - I keep telling myself to squeegee every day - never happens.
The guys who installed ours said we could Rain-X them if we wanted to as well. We didn't.
eta: I spray them with bathroom cleaner (some spray with bleach) and use the Scrubbing Bubbles action scrubber to clean them - so I double the products. I die in there from the fumes (I'll do it when I shower) but it doesn't leave any streaks or water marks!!

Not nearly as often as I should.
That shower is in my bedroom so since company will never see it, I wait until it looks totally spotted to clean it .
I do rinse them w/the shower head after every shower.
I have well water so I know of nothing to stop the marks.

We squeegee after every shower, and I wash them with vinegar once a week. Still doesnt seem to be enough though.

When I had them I used to clean them really well and then use Rain X on them to repel the water and prevent spots/scum....worked well with the daily squeegee.

Just to keep up with it, I sometimes when I go take a shower, I bring a Clorox wipe w/ me and wipe down the glass.
Then I will do a full cleaning of them each week using various cleaning agents. Sometimes glass cleaner, sometimes I will use Bon Ami (which is a powder), sometime I will use a Bounce dryer sheet b/c that helps get the soap scum off too.

THis is exactly why my preference is shower curtains. Doors are LOTS of work to keep pretty!

Mr. Clean magic erasers work wonders. Also we squeegee (sp) after each shower. When I do a deep cleaning in the shower I use Scrubbing bubbles.

We squeegee after every shower and I have a cleaning service that comes in weekly (but I don't know how often they truly clean our glass doors...they're not the most thorough crew.  )
Using the squeegee makes a huge difference.

we use tilex shower spray everyday after the last shower.
Also, maybe once a week, I use a Magic Eraser and it works WONDERS!!

I clean mine the same way and seem to have no problems. I did spray them with Rainex when I first go them even before we used them. The water beads right off of the glass. I do squeege them after each use.
