Anyone ever do this? I didn't realize the bread DD ate had some honey in it!
DD is 10.5 mths. I just realized some new bread I bought had some honey in it. She ate half a slice.
Should I be worried? WWYD? Anyone else ever do this and was their child ok?

I wouldn't be too worried.
I fed DD Honey Nut Cheerios starting around 6 months and it never dawned on me that they had HONEY and NUTS
DD is fine, I'm sure your will be too.

I'm sure it is fine b/c it is cooked. The concern with raw honey is botulism

I think it has to do with raw honey, if it was baked I think you're fine!!!!

wholesomebabyfoods says NO honey even in cooked goods. That's why I am so upset right now.
I never buy that bread, didn't see it on the ingredients!

My ped says cooked honey is OK.
As does mine and DC gets graham crackers all the time. She's ok I'm sure!

I agree with the others in that cooked honey is fine. I also found wholesomebabyfoods to be a bit 'militant'...I think you're DD is fine

I think it's fine. It is cooked, and it's also a small amount.

That ok, I gave my son whole gees from 6 mnths on because I had never heard I wasn't supposed to until he was baout 10 months and by that point I figured he ws fine.
