Anyone have new windows installed?
I'm going to have a contractor install new windows but I dont know what kind of windows I should get. I live on a busy street so want something that will kill the noise and of course energy efficient.

We used Unified. They have triple glass windows that can block out noise.

We got Alside Excalibur vinyl windows. They are excellent with noise and they have Low-E glass too. www.alside.com

We just got new windows. After a ton of research and comparison shopping, we used a contractor (FM if you need a recommendation), and did a combination of PAL vinyl and Andersen wood-clad vinyl.
We got the argon-filled vinyl windows for our bathrooms and basement b/c of potential moisture in those areas, and we also got vinyl for two large windows in the back of our house, as we are planning on possibly redoing that area 5-10 years down the line, and did not want to spend the money on the Andersens only to have them ripped out.
The rest of the house is done in Andersen 400 series, with SunShield Low E4 glass.
