What is everyone doing with their DC now that the weather is getting cooler?
I have her signed up for gymboree and a library class, but I feel like the days we don't have a class we're shopping or at home, playing and in front of the TV which I HAAATE!!!! Any other suggestions?!!?!?!

we are home a lot. he plays wiht his toys , watches some TV, I hate the cold so its hard for me to get out there. we have little gym once a week and try to have a play date once a week. we do food shopping that 's about it, ds is 12 months

Were signed up for 2 library classes and itsy bitsy yoga at a local community center. Other than that.. it's the mall, target, or maybe a friends house.

Being home is a good thing for your child. Too much stimulation with all these classes are not a good thing. Esp for a small child.

We are taking two classes, but otherwise we are home, go to the library (they have no programs for his age that work for us which is why the classes), home, and we still go to the park at this point. I just dress him in layers so he won't get overheated while running around.
I agree too many classes is not great, but I think we have a good number for him. Plus, this is the one way he interacts with other children--he's not in preschool or daycare and he doesn't have siblings or cousins.

What makes you say that? I am curious, b/c we are home alot and I feel bad that she ISN"T being stimulated. But then again, maybe it's better off so she doesn't start getting bored when she isn't doing "something". That's one to think about.

we used to do a lot of library classes and some open play at different places. now DD is in school 2x a week plus dance so we arent doing library

we havent done too much since ds has been sick all week... but i am not a big going out person since i am 6 months preg and carrying around my huge 1 year old is taking its toll... so he plays alot at home

We're signed up for two classes at the library in October.
Other than that... 8 cousins within 5 miles and we also bundle up and go for walks outside! We love outside! And we love fall weather!

no but seriously, we could get mila and chels together once a week on non gymboree days..at least its socialization
