Napping help for a 10 week old

Any one have any suggestions?

My dd is a great sleeper at night - typically wakes once for a feeding. I have even been starting to put her down drowsy and most nights she falls asleep,

the problems is naps, I am having a hard time getting her to nap in her crib and am worried since she starts daycare in 2 weeks. I have tried everything I can think of, letting her fall asleep and transferring her (she wakes up within 5 minutes), putting her down drowsy (eyes pop right open), letting her fuss and staying with her rubbing her belly or patting her butt....nothing works and then she is so miserable I can't get her to nap at all.

Any suggestions?????????

Did you try the swing or bouncy. DS sleeps in his crib at night, but loves sleeping in the swing during the day. He's at daycare now and he naps in the swing there or in the crib... it depends. They tire him out. It's great! He gets a lot of activity there so he naps well and then falls asleep easily around 7:40 PM.

Does she nap in the car or while walking?

She is a better napper with motion, I had actually gone out to the car to get her stroller to go for a walk since I know she NEEDS to nap and when I came iin she had passed out in the swing but only for about 20 minutes or so.

Daycare will keep her so busy she'll nap well there and they also have swings. She'll be fine. For now... enjoy her awake time b4 going back to work since she'll be in daycare. Chat Icon

ds didnt nap in the pnp or crib until 7 months old... before that he would nap in the chair or swing (though he was too heavy for the swing by the time he was 12 weeks old)... he actually wasnt a big napper until he got alot more active
