does anyone really get into halloween decorations?
This is my FAVORITE time of year and Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.
Thought it might be fun to show off some of the halloween decorating you've done in the past and give us new homeowners some creative idea's at the same time!

No so much Halloween decorations. I do a harvest theme so it stays up til Thanksgiving. I LOVE it!

i have a whole mini house display and completely deck out the entire place but we will not be doing this year since we probably will just be getting in the house and the last two times we decorated was in the apartment.

and a few things for outside from oriental trading...

if i had children, i would decorate but since i don't i just decorate with pumpkins and mums on the front porch. more fall decor than halloween.

I have a fall/thanksgiving theme. I get paper napkins with leaves and pumpkins on them for the downstairs bathroom. I have a resin pumpkin that has a we are thankful message on it and a pilgrim man and woman. The man and woman will go up after halloween.

Normally I'm just into fall decor, but this year I bought a bunch of glittered items (skulls, bones, witches, signs, etc.)
I'm not into the whole "spooky" aspect of Halloween.

I love this time of the year! I already decorated this past week. I put out stuff like this also. Not so much stuff on the front lawn, but inside I have tons of pumpkins and decorations

I don't do a lot. Scarecrows, mums and pumpkins outside.
Inside I have a Halloween tablecloth and custom runner that fits in the bay window in the dining room. Then I switch those out for ones with a fall leaf theme for Thanksgiving. I also put lighted grapvine pumpkins in the bay window.
And I use school projects the kids bring home inside and as table centerpieces.

Same for me. I do have some Halloween ones to put up, but they come down quickly and I add more fall oriented ones.
