I've been using ours a lot recently, but on average, I use it every other month during the year. They have a great collection. I really hope the library in our new town is as convenient and nice!

Not much lately with the new baby... but I am a big library fan and plan to use a lot mroe when she's older for the children's programs.

I love the library, but it has gotten harder to browse with the kids. So I do alot of online requesting for books so that what I want is at the front desk for me and I can get in and out quicker. I also joined paperback swap.

I visit the library at least once a week. I commute and usually read two books a week. I love our library and the staff. It's also just a 30 second walk from home.

I do! I am an avid reader so i check out several books a month, and now that DS is in Kindergarten, I got him his own card and he comes too!

I love the library, I hope they don't phase them out here. Books are so expensive, why buy them (unless you need it on hand) when you can read them for free.

As a kid, I went almost weekly. I LOVED reading and finding new things in the library.

As an adult, I mainly spent time there to study while going for my master's.

Then I went through a time where I was obsessed with documentaries. Our library had a TON of them on DVD and they were FREE! You could take out a TON, and if you didn't watch them, who cares?!?! They were FREE!

Now that I have DS, I don't get there as often because between him and working FT and keeping on top of my house and family functions, etc, I barely have time to do ANYTHING for leisure anymore It is really depressing because I love my library.

I've been thinking about making a stop there all summer.

Like others have said I just can't afford to spend $$ at Barnes & Nobles on new books & than have to find a place to store them.

I have always love to read. I can go into a book store & stay for hours upon hours reading the back covers. I don't think I could ever get into wireless reading devices. I hate the way everything is being taken over by computer like systems.

I love the smell of a new book or even an old one. I love the quietness of a library. It would be so sad to see libraries close because people prefer downloading all their reading material.

Atually, I technically dont' go to "my " library all that often, but we are on the border of the next town & like their library better, so we go there, sine they are all connected inteh county system.

Sometimes on a Saturday we will go to more than 1 library. My DH goes to one near his job too, so he will go to more than 1 in a week.
We also use interlibrary loan often.
We do attend the used book sales they have to support them, but if we bought every book we read that would be about 80 new books a year which we don't have the money or space for.

As a child/teenager all the time but, as an adult rarely - mostly just too busy.

But, since DS turned 1 I use it all the time - they have GREAT playgroups and classes there for him! They also have a great playroom. And the best part, its all free - so now we go weekly at least

I use the library frequently. I commute so i use my train time to read - and i read fairly fast so i go through about a book a week.

I rarely if ever actually buy books, unless its as a gift for someone else.

Ditto. I "shop" for books I'm interested on the library website, put holds on them, and when they're in I pick them up and I'm out the door in 2 seconds. LOVE IT!

I just started going again recently. I love hoe everytime I leave I feel like I just got a present b/c i didn't have to pay for it. Its so rare that you feel that way anymore!

I love the library and frequented it in NY. I am trying to make time to get my library card here! I only buy the book if I must read it ASAP!

I just started using my library a few months ago and I go every week or two now. It has saved me so much money and I don't have to feel guilty if I can't get into a book because I didn't spend any money on it.

We've been here a few years and I didn't even realize all that my library offered for free. My library is great!

always! i'm in there at least every other week and was there more frequently when i was on maternity leave. i love the free kids' programs!
