No, I didn't. DH was home and watched her. I see no problem with taking her though.
Same here. It was my first time out of our apartment without DD. It felt good for me to get out on my own.

I had my first appt one week after my delivery to take my c-section staples out. My MIL watched my DD while my DH took me to the dr.
My DD did come with me to my 6 week PP appt. She sat in her car seat the whole time and drank her bottle.

i did!! i used a midwife( she delivers out of a hosptial) and i brought dd to her office!
it was great! i think i even ended up breastfeeding her while in the exam room...

I took my DD with me on all appts. to the OB after she was born. (I had to go back a few times to check that all my swelling was going down) I always see newborns in the waiting room at my OB office.

my OB does 6wk visits - i'm taking him. the only appt i could get was 2pm and DH is working.

I did with my first DD - she slept most of the time in the carseat and my doctor got a chance to see her.
When it came time to see the doctor again with my second DD - I went ALONE - LOL - it was a treat to get away for that 1/2 hour.
My advice would be GO FOR IT!

I took one of my DD to my 6 weeks check up only bc I felt bad leaving all 3 home with my Mom.....and I took the best one with me..........

yes I brought him each time ( 2 weeks, 6 weeks and 6 months). I figure the doctor would like to see how baby has grown

i didn't. DH was home to watch her. in hindsight, i wish i did! i LOVE my OB and the whole office. it would have been nice to show her off!

No, I didn't . I was afraid it would take forever and DS would get fussy. Of course it did take forever and I'm glad I didn't take him. Too much stress for me a that time.

I did. We don't have family here and we didn't have a babysitter (I wouldn't even consider one at 6 weeks old) and DH had to work.
My OB didn't deliver me so it was nice she got to see her. I went early in the morning so the office wasn't full yet and DD sat in her carseat carrier most of the time anyway.

I brought him. DH also came with since my first PP follow up was to get staples removed.
But Ryan actually came to all my PP visits. I didn't have anyone to watch him and my OB always got a kick out of seeing him.

yep brought her she was an angel. and the dr was happy to see her. and so were the assistants that helped me the whole 9 months.
