Can you please tell me where and why you like it there? How long does it take to get to the city & LI?

Re: Anyone live in South NJ?
I live on the boarder of Manalapan/Marlboro which I think is on the boarder of Central and South jersey. I am 16 miles from Six Flags which also has the outlets right there. About 100 miles from AC 60 miles from Bayside (an hour to an hour and 10 minutes door to door with no traffic) 75 miles from Farmingdale (an hour and half to 2 hours with no traffic) 50 miles from Manhattan 6 miles from Freehold Raceway Mall 4 miles from Target, Wegmans, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Best Buy, Babies R Us, Bed bath and Beyond.
We moved here 2 years ago from LI and I really like the area and how close I am to everything. The summer stinks because their is a lot of traffic but once you get on the GSP from the turnpike it is only 2 exit which isn't bad.

Re: Anyone live in South NJ?
We live in Neptune, which again is kind of central but it's on the shore. Near Belmar, Asbury Park. Pretty similar numbers to pp, but it's about an hour and 15 min drive to NYC, with no traffic of course. We live near exit 100 on the GSP. People do commute via train from here but I think it's too far for me. Long Branch is the closest NJ Transit station.
