I did it!
I replaced a light switch in my kitchen all by myself.
...and I didn't electrocute myself

thanks but I just flipped the breaker and unscrewed and untwisted everything out of the caps and took the switch to Lowes and said, give me one of these!
I have to admit, I was pretty impressed with myself.
Now I have some lights in my bathroom I can't fix. I thought it was the switch and it's something else that I have no idea about. I guess I'm calling the electrician for that.
