ideas for places...
My husband has made a flyer to post at places. He teaches piano and trumpet. I know schools won't allow him to post the flyers because they don't allow solicitations.
I think Libraries might let him. Anyone know of specific places in Nassau that allow people to post flyers?
Thanks for any ideas!

I always see flyers in supermarkets and laundromats.
I would stop in at local stores and see if they will let you leave them on the counter - delis, bagel stores, pizzarias, dry cleaners, etc.
My deli has a small bulletin board.

Re: ideas for places...
Just FYI if he wants to post it at a Library he should ask to make sure that he's placing it on the correct board. I work in a library & anything that gets posted to "Library boards" (meant for our programs) gets instantly removed/trashed. If it's posted on the Community Board it's usually not a problem (although I'm not too sure about those soliciting business). GL!

Re: ideas for places...
libraries and chain stores probably won't let him. supermarkets and local stores usually do, but they take them down fairly quickly.

How about nail salons? I know at my nail salon there are ads for retired teachers who do SAT tutoring........ etc.
Lots of moms sit there for 1+ hours sometimes and notice things on the walls........ especially if it's posted near the nail driers
