pos. TMI - period and tampons

for those of you who use tampons, do you feel like it draws out your period (not literally) but, make your period last longer? Chat Icon No joke, when I use tampons, which I always do, my periods are like 8-9 days. The first day is light spotting, days 2-4 are heavier and then 5-9 is like nothing, I go through 1-2 tampons a day on those days.

If I were to not use a tampon on day 5 and beyond, it would only be maybe 6-7 days.

I actually feel the opposite. I feel like the tampons soak it up more and usually I only need to use them for like 3 days tops where I feel like with the pad, its a longer drawn out process of bleeding.

Maybe Im weird Chat Icon but thats interesting...
