super impatient about HPT!!! (kinda long)

Okay, so I am due for AF today...I've been charting BBT for 3 cycles, and my temps have always gone down the day I get AF, but this morning, it was still way up. So as I've been doing the last 2 days, I woke up at 6am and POAS. It looked negative, so I tossed it.

Then when I woke up for real around 8, I (yes, I know I'm a TOTAL freak for doing this) took it out of the trash and saw a definite faint line. Now, I am completely aware that these things are supposed to be "invalid" after 10 minutes, but I was kind of freaking out, so I dug my last 2 out of the trash too (i know, i know...) and honestly, there was an ALMOST not visible line on one (presumably the first one I took), a TINY bit darker on the next one, and then today's which was a definite faint line.

Now I KNOW that I could simply be patient and just wait for AF or to POAS again tomorrow am, but I am NOT patient, and I want your thoughts and opinions. How "not valid" are these old results??? Could a 2 hour old test with a faint line be telling me that I am pregnant????

I'm FREAKING out, and I'm trying very hard not to get excited bc i know it could be nothing...but tell me what you think. lol

This is how I found out I was pregnant with my son. Dh dug it out of the garbage like 10 minutes after I had taken it and sure enough there it was a faint line. We went down to cvs and bought the positive/negative kinda test. Sure enough I was preggers.

i do this with OPK's, it says to read it within 5-8 minutes BUT I have found that for me, it takes longer for them to totally develop (if that makes sense).

FRIEND test again! Get a digital!

hahaha. i am gonna test with digital tomorrow, provided AF doesn't show up...trust me, i WILL be calling you if it's +!!!! lol

I'm not trying to be a negative nancy, but I wouldn't get to excited. I can not tell you how many faint lines I got after 10 minutes just to have my heart broken. I would either test later today or wait until tomorrow morning, but I would not get my hopes up based on a test that was 2hrs old and another that is much older. It's just so hard to be crushed when see a BFN after you think it is a BFP.

Honestly, I wouldn't trust a line past the time stated on the box. I would take another test!

i got my BFP the day after AF was due (haha happy birthday, remember?!) at that point i couldnt put the thing down fast enough before it turned +

How long is your LP? How many days of higher BBT do you have charted already including today? It's probably 16 or less - but if you're at 18 high temps, that is almost a guarantee of being pregnant!!

I would definitely take another test today (try to hold your pee for a few hours) and/or take another one tomorrow morning and see if you get a line within the first 10 minutes.
