giving it one more try - - what time should i test?

I'm going to try those OPKs again (until the saliva based one that I ordered gets here). I'll start testing on CD10. I don't have enough to be doing it twice a day tho and I don't really want to since I feel like they're too expensive for me to buy that many packs. So what would you say is the best time to do it?? The last time that I unsuccessfully used them I was testing at 2pm. Should i stick with that or go later?

I guess the other rule of thumb is to not pee up to 4 hours beforehand. And aren't you not supposed to DRINK either for like an hour before? Ugh. So many rules.

some will disagree but I have had the best luck with FMU - testing first thing in the morning. I know that for the CBE digital, the directions say that you can test at any time during the day.

i have been using the strips and then when I think I have gotten a +, I confirm with the digital. Might be worth a shot!

I have been testing at 6 pm----not drinking anything for 1 1/2 to 2 hours before that and no being during that time either. I was getting nothing for the first few times but today I got a faint line so I am hoping to O in the next couple of days.

I have used and am still using, FMU. The CBE OPK says that FMU is fine. I find its just easier that way then having to hold it in for 4 hours and then testing. JMO though...good luck!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

1st thing in the AM. It's just easier.

I've tested 2 times a day & still got a positive result 1st (2 cycles in a row) using 1st thing in AM pee.

ok ladies. Thanks for that information. I hate how stressful these tests get for me. If only I'd see a positive once in a while Chat Icon

I'll try FMU and see what happens this time around.
