POLL - if your coworker picks up lunch for you...
Say they're going to a deli and ask if you want anything - you order a BLT on whole wheat no mayo, and they come back with a BLT on white with mayo - do you say anything about the order being wrong?

I would say something- no yelling at the person- but more like, "hey I think they got my order wrong, which deli did you go to?"

I wouldn't, telling them won't achieve anything except make them feel bad. I wouldn't want them to feel like they had to give me money back and I doubt they would go back to the deli. I would just deal with it that day.
The next time they go I would write my order out or call it in.

ditto. if they ask again if you want them to get your lunch for you, just casually mention that you're going yourself b/c the deli got your order wrong last time.

I'm a bit biased, since I'm a guy, but I would definitely give them a "once over".... 
But the only coworkers that I would ask to pick something up for me are the same guys that all are good friends, and we would expect that from each other.

It could go either way-
It could be the co-workers fault for giving them the incorrect order, or the deli's fault.
For something like the wrong bread, I would not make it a big issue.

Probably not. I have delis get my order wrong when I order it myself, so it could easily have been the deli's fault and not my co-worker's fault.

I wouldn't say anything but I agree with a PP who said next time to give it to them in writing.
I get lunch/breakfast for lots of folks here all the time and if someone said it was wrong I would probably tell them to get it themselves.

Lunches are insane around here. I have learned to just be happy that I get what I ordered.
I might write a note with my order and clip it to my money next time, or jokingly mention it if they go again. But not this time.

I did the rudest thing 2 days ago but I couldnt help it...
2 guys from here were sent to get lunch. One said "what do u want" I asked him what he was getting. He tells me a turkey club. OK, so he gets back and the sandwich is from subway. The turkey is pink. I am like...WTH is this... it tasted like bologna. Not to mention he double mayoed it with pickles and onions. OMG...it was so friggin gross that I gave him the whole thing. I am sure he enjoyed it, I am sure I was rude but BLLLLLEEEEEEH!
I did say "thank you"

Bumping this b/c I was driving to work and called the office to see if anyone wanted anything from the bagel store.
It ended up being 4 bagels, and 4 egg sandwiches. I was driving so I couldn't write. I tried to commit it to memory.
Needless to say I got one woman cream cheese when she asked for butter. She kind of gave me an attitude about it... I was like - well then go get your own damn bagel. Just scrape it off and put butter on it. We HAVE butter you know.
I was so ****** off. Just say thank you and go scrape the damn thing.
I only say something if my bro screws up my order - just b/c we rag on each other...

I would say something but not in a way that blames the co-worker...I was assume the deli got my sandwich wrong not the coworker who went to get it.
