Need color opinions, please!
Ok, so I moved this piece out of my kitchen and would like to keep it in my dining room. Here's where I put it and you can see the color of the wall behind it. Also, here's a picture of the rest of the room, except we have new chairs that match the table now (Thank god! haha). I don't really want to stain the piece, so what color should I paint it?? I'm so bad at this!
The piece I want to paint:
The rest of the dining room:

Re: Need color opinions, please!
Maybe pick up one of the accent colors in your curtains or the serving pieces you will use in there?

Re: Need color opinions, please!
Thanks, girls. Maybe I'll take a look at some brown paints. I was thinking a chocolote brown, but then I was thinking, you know how some rooms have one piece that doesn't match, but it has a more bold color? Would that be too risky?

No - it's only paint. It would be what? A $30 mistake? Go for it - try a bold color!
Also - I saw a cute thing on some blog somewhere - maybe you could wallpaper the drawer front? Say you got beige and choc brown wallpaper - paint the piece the brown of the wallpaper, you know?

I 2nd this...go for a bold color. It's an accent piece. Be bold and take a risk! I bet it will look awesome.

I agree also-you could also mosaic it or decoupage it. Obviously much more time consuming than painting but it will look REALLY COOL!
