I've only been a SAHM for a month now and I am enjoying every second of it.
After we moved out of the city to LI, I saw DD for one hour in the evening, and most of that time, she wasn't in her best mood. It really took a toll on me. Now, I get her in all her moods and I love it. She really is at her best in the mornings and it makes me sad that I was missing out on that.

I love it. I am the happiest I have ever been.
I had a hard time when he was an infant. I worked FT from when he was 4 months old until last March.
But I have been staying at home with him since he was 14 months old and it is great.
Sure, there are tough days, it can get monotonous, but it is still much better (FOR ME) than working. But I hated my job, it was a paycheck for me, not a career. If I loved my job, I am sure I would feel differently.

Me!! I would not trade it for the world. Now I am working part time since my daughter is older - but I am pretty much always home when she is home. I have the best of both.

Me, me. I love it. I worked part-time when I had my first (3 days a week) and that was great. But with 2 it just would have been too crazy and wouldn't have made much financial sense -- I would have been working to pay for daycare and bringing home only a few hundred a month -- why bother?
I love being with my boys full-time. My toddler keeps us busy and we have a nice group of friends around us. I really thought I was going to get bored or go nuts, but it's been wonderful.
ETA: I don't think I could do it with just an infant, though -- I really needed more stimulation.

100% YES YES YES!!!! If I never have to work again I would be thrilled!! I absolutely LOVE being home with my DD every day and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I love it!! I love that I am able to wake up everyday and spend it with my two girls. I get to see all their milestones, special moments etc. Those are times that can never be replaced. I figure there is plenty of time to work when they go to school full time and are older. You can never get those moments/days back. It IS a lot of hard work and some days are more of a challenge than others but I wouldn't change it for the world. I think I'm lucky that I get to stay home not everyone who wants to can. But I will say it isn't for everyone.
This sums up my feelings 100% - 90% of the time- is this an all or nothing question

I love it.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of days where I want to pull my hair out....but the good most definately outweighs the bad.
I worked a very stressful job before becoming a SAHM and while I was working there I knew it was never something I could do once I had a family. The pay was amazing - but the hours were ridiculous.
I do sell real estate on the side so I get out with my buyers for a few hours every week.
We are always busy. There is rarely a day where we are sitting around.

I'm on leave still but have been a SAHM for 5 months now. I love it!! I'm going back to work in Sept. and I don't want to go. My ideal would be to work Part-time, but only because we need the money.

Depends on the day... Non of my friends have children yet so i do miss the adult interaction and find it lonely... but 98% of the time i love it

Yes and am very grateful I can be home. The past 9 months have flown by. As much as I miss the career I worked hard for, more so my work friends, I've wanted to be a mommy more than anything else so my career can be put on hold. Like others have said it's the hardest thing I've ever done, however well worth it to spend every second with my little guy.

I've been a SAHM while on maternity leave for the past 4 months after having DS #2. I have to admit I'm enjoying it so much more this time around than when I did it after DS #1 was born. I'm working from home now but will be returning to a schedule that will have me in the office 3 days per week until 4Pm and then home the other two. I'm having a hard time with the idea of going back at all but I know I'm fortunate to be able to work the schedule I do and still be home with DC when needed.

I love it. There are stressful times, but even those are nothing compared to what I felt when working because I LOVE my job as a Mom. I love seeing DS grow and learn. I am taking a year off from work, but will be going back in January. I soooo don't want to go back and leave DS

I absolutely love being a SAHM. Sure there are times that I need a break. There are also days that I wake up and honestly don't feel like being "mommy" that day but the last 17 months home with my DD has been an absolute blessing and I am so grateful to be able to stay home with her. We have a lot of fun during the day.
