OMG, I am completely in tears reading this. I can't imagine. THANK GOD that camp has such great procedures and acted very quickly. I'm glad she's ok.

I've been feeling so traumatized by this & haven't really talked to DH about it because I think he thinks I'm overreacting.
I really appreciate everything. Thank you to everyone on this site - the FMs, emails & hugs. You've all been wonderful.

Oh Barbara tears are running down my face as I read this!!! Thank God she is OK!!! You are definitely not overreacting! I would be a total mess over this eventhough the camp had such thorough procedures!!

I'm just seeing this post now. You are NOT over-reacting. I am so glad to hear that she is ok now. How horrified you must have been on that train ride home.
I'm sure your DH knows what could have been, and he's just down-playing it for himself.

If my little girl ever tells me she was "wishing for magic." there is no reaction that would be considered "overreacting."
