how long did it take to get the appraisal info back? - UPDATE
the appraisal was done approximately 2 weeks ago. i've left messages for our loan officer and she is usually good about getting back to me but she hasn't called me back. maybe she is on vacation?
the seller's won't make an offer or sign a contract on a house they want until they know that their house is going to appraise for what we need. of course that is probably going to delay our closing/move in date
update: so i called the main office and the woman i spoke with told me that the house appraised for 3K more than we needed! my loan officer is going to email us the info. i am so relieved!

The 2X I have done it, I got it back the next day or a few days later.
2 weeks? Not sure why it's taking so long

wow 2 weeks is way long! Ours was about 3-5 business days- Can you ask your lawyer to call the bank and pressure them?
