Need a kick@ss hair stylist
Im thinking i migyht need to succumb to traveling into Manhattan for a good hair dresser. I am n DESPARATE need of someone who KNOWS HAIR and knows how to see change and make it happen (think Nick on What Not to Wear)
Im willing to pay for it so please rec anyone you know that is FANTASTIC
*does not HAVE to be NYC btw. Just throwing it out there that im not opposed to it. I will go whereever this super stylist is

My cousin goes to Nick's salon- he charges about 500.00 per haircut.
I love who I use- think Kat von D with pink hair. She is awesome. But not sure what you are looking for.

Jairo (pronounced like Gyro) at Hilo De Souza on 59th and 1st. He is not afraid to make a dramatic change with color and style. Nice guy too

Evelyn at Cartel the Salon in Huntington Village (She use to be at Ethans of London in the village but Ethan sold the place and moved into Cartel) it's down by Prime...
I L O V E her!!!!! She is the best hair dresser I've EVER HAD!!! The way she straightens my hair, amazes me!

I used to go to Sal he's at a salon called
Lamode it's now on Larkfield Road in East Northport.. I don't know the # sorry, ut he's the owner, he's AWESOME! he charges like 60.00 I think. I used to go to him, But I moved out of state

nicole english from symmetry in stonybrook... i will not let anyone else cut my hair. anytime i go to her for an updo (or down do lol) or a haircut and i explain a vision in my head, it always comes out exactly as i explain. i think her haircuts cost around $50.

Lil Steph at Colori Bella in East Rockaway.
My hair is pretty much always the same BUT I have her seen her do wonders on other clients.
She is amazing with color too!

Arrojo studio on Varick (I think!).
That's the studio of Nick Arrojo of "what not to wear". Their colorists are outstanding. I used to get my haircut there. I had the best compliments on my haircut and colors when I went there. Everybody would talk about my hair.
Ask for Vincent (he is French!) and he is AMAZING. I have the most fine, straight baby hair you can find , and this guy can give me volume and style.
Too bad I don't have time to go to NYC anymore for a haircut.
