Pinpointing O by CM
How do you pinpoint your actual O date without using an OPK? I don't want the stress of using them just yet so I've just been checking my CM. Last night I noticed it is more EW and stretchy. I know that means I will O is the next couple of days, but how will I know which day exactly?

If you are temping, you will know when you O'ed based on the temp shift. Once your temp shifts, you can be fairly certain you O'ed the day before. Doesn't help much timing BDing, but you can be sure you O'ed at least.

Re: Pinpointing O by CM
I don't think you can pinpoint exactly which day unless you use the OPKs. Women can have multiple patches of fertile cervical mucus throughout their cycle so you might not even ovulate even though there's EWCM.
Are you also BBT charting? If you are, then the EWCM is a good indication that O is coming so just keep BDing until you see the temperature rise. Once the temp rise happens and is sustained, then you've already O'd.

Re: Pinpointing O by CM
Thanks for the responses ladies. I didn't think I'd be able to pinpoint it to the day, but I know around when. I'm not temping. I've had EWCM since Sunday and it has gotten stretchier each day. Online calculators show my O date as tomorrow, so I guess it makes sense. DH and I have BDed every other day since CD6, including today. I think we'll BD tomorrow and Thursday to make sure I cover my O time. and this works.
