worried about a coworker
A few weeks back i found a letter she had pasted into our shared files (mine and hers) re: a letter that someone was cheating on their husband. Right away I assumed it "Could" be her but I also wondered why she would paste it in our joint file. Today she came in overly emotional and closed my office door. She told me she kicked her husband of 20 yrs out and he has mental problems etc. She has 3 children and all this drama. She didnt tell me about the "cheating letter". Ive never been put into this drama before and I actually fear for her safety. I didnt know what to do or what to say. I just listened. Is there anything anyone can suggest I do or say in such an awkward situation?

depends on how bad this mental situation is - does she need a restraining order? is he hurting her or the children?
