Re: thrombo and natural killer cells
My thrombophilia blood work took forever to come back, b/c Enzo took it upon themselves to wait for one, single, last test to come back before sending all the results (that they were sitting on for a week or so) to the office. Sandra finally called them and they faxed what they did have and "Jeff" called me that evening.
ETA: The whole IF journey is chock full of waiting. I know it's hard to be patient, but stress does us no good.

yeah when i went to enzo, the guy had no clue what these tests were and had to look them up and was calling all different supervisors and bosses to ask what they were. i was a nervous wreck. finally he just took random viles and said alright ill figure it out later. lets see if i have to go back. i have a bad feeling...

Re: thrombo and natural killer cells
Same thing happened to me at Enzo... the woman took forever and didn't know what she was doing. She had never heard of the tests before and actually asked me if I wanted all of the ones prescribed. I got a call today that she messed up 2 of them, so I have to go back tomorrow. I hope you don't have to go back, too!!

Re: thrombo and natural killer cells
I would call Sandra and she can call Enzo to find out the status of the results.
FYI...The girl at the Enzo in Smithtown seems to be the only one who knows what she's doing. Plus, it's always empty on Saturdays!

Re: thrombo and natural killer cells
My thrombo results took THREE weeks for everything to come back. Very annoying.

Re: thrombo and natural killer cells
I'm working with Enzo to get my b/w too... I went in Friday (and the woman was no help... she asked if I really wanted all of the tests prescribed...). They called last night and said that I needed to come in today again because she messed up 3 of the tests. So, more waiting for me :( I've just told myself that I won't hear the results until the end of July. So, if they come earlier, I'll be surprised and excited!

Re: thrombo and natural killer cells
Is there any reason why they just can't draw them at Dr. B's office? I haven't gone for mine yet and was hoping maybe they could just do it with next CD 3 at the office...

They can't do it at the office because it has to be stored a certain way.

Re: thrombo and natural killer cells
this is insane. so by the time i wait for the results, i will havwe wasted another month or more of conceiving because i still have no plan... firast i had to wait to do the cd 3 blood becauae i was only in thebeginning of my cycle, so 2 moths went down the drain with that an dnow 2 months are going to go down the drain with these tests and who knows how much longer by the time they set a plan and i do get pregnant. this is so frustrating. why is it this hard???
