Re: What's above your couch?
Behind the couch is a painting by a Jamaican artist, and behind the sofa is walking space and then a credenza and wall mounted stereo against the wall.
I will look for a pic to post...

Re: What's above your couch?
We have three frames:
Vertical 3-picture frame (holds 3 horizontal 4x6 pics each)
then
16x20 frame matted for a 8x10 or 11x14? picture
then
Another vertical 3-picture frame identical to the first.
All are b/w pics from our wedding with the center one being a pic with our guests after the church/ceremony.

Re: What's above your couch?
in our apt, we have a LARGE framed version of this Lichtenstein that I got dh for our first anniversary.
we don't have anything behind or above our couch at our house upstate yet. we will probably get a very large piece of art work or tapestry, since our couch is set up closer to the center of the room, allowing for a good deal of space behind it for something substantial on the wall.

Re: What's above your couch?
nothing..... mainly becuase it's close to a very large window and I'm afraid any art would fade even if covered with UV glass.
IMO, a mirror over the couch is not the safest thing in the world... they're HEAVY and ca break....

Nothing at the moment.. I have my eye on a painting at BBB or a large decorative mirror.
