Beige Paint Question - Which One?
I just can't decide which beige/tan color to pick. We thought about BM Lenox Tan and Bleeker Beige.
Lenox Tan
Bleeker Beige
I think these look different on the paint chip vs. online. But I know a lot of you have these colors in your homes. I'm just not sure which one to choice. It's driving me nuts. Here are some of the things that will go into the room to give you can idea.
A table similar to this one.
The couch is choclate brown. (not the pillows)
Flooring
This is the ceiling that we are putting in.
A lamp that will go in the room
Console table for the TV. (will be on the blue wall)
I hope that gives everyone a good idea. If you have any other color suggestions, I'm listening to those too. Thanks!

Re: Beige Paint Question - Which One?
I have both of these colors in our home. Love them both! They're great colors. We have Lenox Tan in our sitting room and Bleeker Beige throughout all of our hallways. I love the Bleeker Beige color. It was exactly what we were going for in the hallways. Lenox Tan is really nice, but a much richer color, darker than Bleeker and more of a warmer shade, not cooler. Just depends on what you're looking for...I'll post pics in my album of each room.

Re: Beige Paint Question - Which One?
either color would look nice but since the chocolate brown of the couch is very rich would opt for the bleeker beige.
i have a pic of lenox tan in my album. the pic is of the STILL unfinished guest room.

Thank you so much! I made an album called Beiges for you and both colors are in there. The Lenox Tan was taken at night with a beige lamp shade on our lamp so just keep in mind that in daylight the Lenox Tan looks a bit less golden but they are pretty true to the photos. Hope it helps and good luck!

Re: Beige Paint Question - Which One?
I like the Bleecker Beige because it's lighter and reminds me more of sand. Really though, I do like it and all your other choices convince me too.
If you want it darker, you could always repaint in six months. Your DH will love that.

What color blue are you using on the other wall?
We painted my DH's office bleeker beige, with a blue accent wall as well. I think the Bleeker Beige might be a better option for you. Like someone else said, it's more like a sand color...Lenox might be a tad bit too dark.

I love the look of the light Bleeker Beige with the white furniture. Is that console from Home Decorators? I love it!

Re: Beige Paint Question - Which One?
Ohh I love that Lenox Tan!
Right now we have something closer to the lighter beige and sometimes I feel like b/c it is so light it almost gets a pink hue to it in a certain light....
Lenox Tan is on my list for when we get a house - the style of homes we are looking at are open kitchen to family room and i want a nice beige color....love it!

I think that is the directions we are going in.....lighter to look more like sand. And we can always paint again. Yeah right. We paint this room now whatever colors and it will be that way for awhile. I hate painting. And DH would kill me if I even asked 6 months later. This is why I'm having such a hard time with picking the color. Want to get it right the first time.

It's called Beach House by Valspar, but we are using Benjamin Moore Natura paint. They already color matched it for us. Came out great.

Re: Beige Paint Question - Which One?
I really like the lighter beige, my only concern is BM colors seems to be more "fleshy" for lack of a better word, ha. Have you gotten test samples of each? Considering i hate painting, i would rather pay some extra money now for samples and be sure. Love all your choices so far, so either way im sure it will turn out terrific, cant wait for pics.

Great point, I know BM has small sample jars of both of those colors if you wanted to be sure. I think they cost about $3 a jar. Good Luck!

We are leaning towards the lighter beige right now. And yes I do understand what you mean about Fleshy looking colors. We might actually pick a Valspar beige and have BM match it for us. And thank you. I can't wait to take the finished product pics either.
