not really TTC related but period/antibiotics related........

I am on the pill and have had the flu since the first day of my period. (or, should I say, the day my period was supposed to start)

It's supposed to be day 3 of my period and there's BARELY anything there! It's really weird! I highly doubt I'm pregnant since I'm on the pill.... could this be because I'm sick? Really weird......

ETA: I want to add that I was sick a few weeks ago during my cycle and was on antibiotics. Can that delay your cycle even if you're on the pill?

antibiotics can negate the effects of BCP - were you on antibiotics during this cycle?

Being very ill definitely can delay your cycle.

I actually just spoke to my doctor and he said it's all the stress on my body from being so sick this month.

I was sick 2 weeks ago and went on antibiotics and this week developed a nasty flu I was hoping I wasn't pregnant purely because I had been on so many meds this month that it def would not have been safe for the baby!
