SAHM's pg with #2 or more how do you do it? Morning sickness related...
I'm just about 8 wks with #2 and my DS just hit 21 months. We are seriously in trouble here. My house is a wreck and DS's schedule is completely out of whack - all his meals are late and taking forever and he is going to bed so much later than usual - why? b/c there are long periods of time where I am SO nauseous I can hardly function. DH doesn't get home until 7:30 at the earliest and I find myself waiting for him to help but he doesn't move as quick as I do and as a result everything is out of whack. I can't get anything done besides from just treading water and even then everything is a wreck. I havent been taking DS everywhere we usually go b/c I can only handle short trips - walking for an hour or to the park. I feel so bad for him and for DH. please if you have any advice to offer I would appreciate it!!

yep...that was me the first 12 weeks! I told DH that I was barely functioning..and it was true! I would fall asleep putting Jacob to bed and everything took me triple time. I couldnt move fast because even walking or moving my body would make me very nauseous DH was a big help to me...I basically threatened his life and told him that he MUST be home to help If things take longer, it will get done...if stuff around the house doesnt get done...it will still be there. Just take care of yourself

Just deal the best you can. There were a few days I didnt move from my bedroom at all for anything. And The worst part is now when someone says the word throw up, my 2 yr old runs to the bathroom to fake "puke" in the toilet and while hilarious, a bit embarassing. LOL ...
Anyway, dont worry about the house, what it looks like etc. you will worry about it when you feel better. Dont have guilt, anything, just REST

I wrote this same post word for word. Unfortunately our kids have no idea how sick we feel. I literally would lay on the couch and have him play around me all day long.
His meals were all very basic when I could get to them.
The house was pretty much a disaster from weeks 6-16. Thank god for my cleaning people!
I didn't even have the energy to really care. The only thing I can say is to nap when he naps. That is the best thing you can do for yourself. And, try not to stress, if he watches a little too much TV during this time, it's ok!
