NYC shopping help
Can you please recommend some cool/hip stores in the city for shopping? I'm tired of the brand names popular stores. TIA

Re: NYC shopping help
I love:
1) Betsey Johnson (several locations) 2) Anna Sui (in Soho) 3) Reiss UK (several locations) 4) Karen Millen (Soho) 5) Bergdorfs (if you go when they have sales everything is really discounted) 6) Purdy Girl (prices are cheaper than the other stores I listed)

I also love Karen Millen. Check out Pookie and Sebastian (several locations) for cheaper outfits and a great store called Meridian near Macys.

Re: NYC shopping help
I agree, Pookie and Sebastian is also great.
Also, if you wander around the Lower East Side, you will find tons of boutiques many with reasonable prices. Look up the Paul Frank Store (somewhere around Grand street) and start wandering north from there, and you will pass tons of places. One great place is "Court" on Mulberry, really close to the Paul Frank store. I got a great dress for $85. The owner has just a few really great pieces and she was really nice. Head north from there and there are also tons of other tiny stores.

If you go to the Lower East Side also check out the area between Delancey and Houston (Through Orchard Street, Rivington, Stanton Street) there are lots of great boutiques. You can also walk to Soho from there (about 20-30 minute walk). Loooove Soho area...so many stores
