-Oil Heat
-Gas Stove (with propane tanks outside)

Re: How much are utilities?

is this for a home you are buying? When we bought our place- we asked to see a copy of the owner's bills and she sent us copies of everything- it was very helpful and accurate too

Re: How much are utilities?

We have a 4br 1 1/2 bath home w a/cs in every room. Not central. No basement. Electric stove, not gas and oil heat.

Oil budget plan $180

Alarm $30 a month

Landline ph for alarm $30 (dont need but we kept it for the alarm)

Cable (comp/home phone/ computer) $152 a month

Water $25 a month

Electric $200-$300 a month

$617-$717 a month depending on how much you use. We are not careful w our lights either. And we sometimes run at least two a/cs at once. Summer electric can be higher.

Yes- supposedly the REA is working on getting us copies of utility bills. It's taking forever so I figured someone might be able to give me an idea in the meantime. Chat Icon

Re: How much are utilities?

I can give you mine - a similar situation thought not exact...

2700 square foot home; 2 stories with central air, 4 cable boxes with 1 PC. All gas home - no oil. No one is home all day but this should give you a ballpark. Note, I'm on balanced billing for most.

That said I know I could do more to save...

Gas = $187 per month
Electric = $174 " "
Cable/Phone = $211 " "

Let me know if you have any specific questions.
