OMG!

We fired the landscapers we used last year. They did numerous things that just annoyed me.

So this year I hire new landscapers. He comes to cut the lawn last week and low and behold it is already done! So I called the old landscapers again telling them we aren't going to need their services this year, that I'd pay for that cut but please don't come again.

I get home today and there is another message from my current landscapers saying they got here today and AGAIN the lawn was already cut

I am so freakin mad. I will NOT pay them again

Call them and thank them for the free cut and remind them that they were FIRED and you will not be paying them for this or any future cuts!

this happened to us a couple of years ago

I didn't pay them...and they didn't ask. I just called them every time and asked them whey they were cutting our lawn....

we have no luck with landscapers!

I would write them a letter and send it certified mail with return receipt. Write what you just wrote us. That you fired them on x date and on x date they came and cut the lawn anyway and as a courtesy you paid for only that cut. On X day you were told by your new service that it was already cut and that you do not plan on paying them for it.
I would trust your old company if he is playing these games with you. At least you have a copy of this letter for back up.

I would write a letter and tell them that you've called them several times and you are done with them and that you will not pay them for their services since you terminated them already!
