Ok, so last night Sasha threw me a curve ball.
OF COURSE, she waits til DH is out of town and I have to get up every single time.
She has been a pretty good sleeper from Day 1. We are super lucky.
Last night, she woke up THREE TIMES after I put her down to eat. She usually wakes up once.
Usually, I feed her around 7 to 8 then put her down. If her next feeding is due much past 8-- then she usually gets so cranky and tired, we tend to put her down a little earlier-- so, this was last night. She ate at 6 30ish, then couldn't make it til 8 30, so I put her to bed at like 7 15 and was out like a light.
I was expecting her to wake up at like 1ish for another feeding, then again at like 6 30. Instead, she woke up at 8 30, 12 45, 4 00 and then 7 00. *****?????
Did she "miss" the bottle from DH? When I nursed her instead, did she think it was daytime eating schedule? Is she growth spurting?? Is my baby just crazy?
Tonight I am alone again and she better not pull this shite again tonight!

My ped. told me that around this time, even if DS was STTN ( which he isn't - he gets up twice), that they would go thru a phase of waking up again.
I was so happy to be getting more sleep but she just burst my bubble

I think it's a growth spurt...
DS is 3 months and the past week or so he gets up pretty often at night...
He was a great sleeper too and now I don't know what happened.
I hear 3 months is common for a growth spurt

I have no idea. DD has been sleeping from 830-630 since like 9 weeks. I went back to work on Monday and she woke up at 3am the last two mornings. I get up at 5...
I didnt feed her though. I just give her her binky, turn on her aquarium and hope she goes back to sleep;

For those that have been through this-- did it pass, or are you still in it?? I guess if it's a growth spurt, then it will pass. If it's regression, god help me-- I hope it doesn't last long!
I guess we'll see what happens tonight. Pray that she knocks this off til DH is back in this time zone!!

Re: Ok, so last night Sasha threw me a curve ball.
DS who was sleeping through the night has not slept through the night for me the past 2 weeks. I even tried putting cereal in his bottle 3 nights in a roll and he continues to wake up between 1 and 2, then at 4 and 5 and again at 7am I am sleep deprived once agian...this reaaallllyyyy stinks!!! no explanation. I'm really bummed....Don't think he's going through a growth spurt, he'll be 4 months next week. A friend of mine said to me when you start to get comfortable they change everything on you.....

I thought it was a growth spurt for my DS....but it has been going on at least 10 days already and after reading some of the responses it just might be sleep regression...

Re: Ok, so last night Sasha threw me a curve ball.
It might have just been an off night for her but I also think they do get a growth spurt at 3 months.
These babies are always playing mind games with us. Just when we think we have it down pat they change something up
