flood insurance?
Does anyone have flood insurance even if you are not required too by the bank? I am trying to determine if it is worth it... for $400 a year.

yes!! As it was explained to me, the LI flood map is going to be re-drawn and people who are not currently included will be included (like us, who are 1,000 ft from the water, but aren't required to have it).
Plus, for $300-400, I think it's totally worth it. And I believe if you are included in the new flood map, having an existing policy can only help you.
