Re: New Mothers - do you find time to work out?
This has been my personal battle since I went back to work from maternity leave. I was in great shape when I first went back to work and I have progressively added weight back on b/c I have trouble finding time or enegry to work out. I try to work out at least 3-4 times per week...2 of those days are Saturday and Sunday so I don't have to do too much during the week. DH and i bought the P90X videos from the TV ( first time we ever bought something from the TV) and I have to say it TOTALLY works!!! Some of the videos are pretty easy, but challenge your muscles b/c of the # of repititions. You can look up the videos online if you google P90X. FM me if you want more info.

Re: New Mothers - do you find time to work out?
I am just now getting into a workout routine. On the nights that DH puts the kids to bed I go to the gym and vice versa. I will be starting to go in the morning once I stop BFing in a few weeks.

Re: New Mothers - do you find time to work out?
I do a 30 minute workout video 2X during the week after DD goes to bed at about 7:30. I usually get a 45 minute treadmill session in once over the weekend (when DD is either napping, or if DH takes her out on errands)

Re: New Mothers - do you find time to work out?
With DS #1 I was not able to work out after I had him. It took forever to heal from the C-section (enough to work out anyway). This time I go to a trainer twice a week and I walk every night (weather permitting) with the boys in the stroller & DH. I am at 9 weeks PPD 2 sizes smaller than pre-pregnancy. I have a ways to go, but this is the smallest I have been in years.

Re: New Mothers - do you find time to work out?
it's not easy, but I try to squeeze something in each day--- whether it be 30 or so mins on the elliptical, a walk or even getting to the gym on the weekends. I also do a yoga/pilates class once a week with the baby, and work out with a trainer where I can bring the baby once a week as well.

Re: New Mothers - do you find time to work out?
HA HA workout whats that I don't even sleep during the day and rarely at night. I would love to loose weight, I try to go for walks. I need to loose 20lbs to reach my PP weight and I wouldn't mind loosing an extra 10 on top of that.
