My mom and step-dad: $100-$200. Whatever they can afford. So it's a small swingset, books,for his birthday he is getting a wagon.

Both are very thoughtful, and I don't think it really matters what they spend. They both do something nice for DS. I think when you start comparing what one parent got over another it is not fair. You don't really know what their thought process is or what their financial situation is at that moment in time.

Both sides around $50-$75 but we come from BIG families so we already get more presents than we know what to do with!!

my mom usually gets my DD a $500 savings bond ($250) and some clothes- probably anohter $100.
