We usually spend about $150 on my FIL and $150 on my dad and stepmom (combined) and About $300 on my mom...I always do more for my mom because she absolutely deserves it!!

$200-$300 for my parents, usually a little less for inlaws. They are impossible to buy for and never want anything.

about 200 maybe 250 combined for my parents...we only spend about 150 on each other. (not that you asked that last part just trying to say that in general we are on a budget)

My dad is real simple. All he wants is a day planner from staples. He wants a specific one and it's not very expensive.
My mom I bought her airline tickets for superbowl weekend to come and visit us. My dad was already coming down by himself so I surprised her and got her an air ticket to come down.
My MIL we got her a jewelery set when we went on the cruise. That was under $100. FIL we'll probably spend about $100.

It totally depends on what she needs/ wants. It's usually never anything less than $150. My MIL gets a big fat NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!  (both of our dads are deceased).

On my mom - $50 (if anything; she kinda started being bizarro and stopped celebrating anything out of sheer laziness)
My dad - $0 (uintil now, we lived in completely different states, never saw him)
DH's parents - depends on our level of brokeness, anywhere from $50-200 (we always do a "couple" gift to save & thankfully, they could care less as long as we spend Christmas with them)

MIL was given an advance back in Oct, so I am on a pj hunt for her, mainly so DH thinks I am a nice person.
My dad runs in the NYC marathon, so each year my sister and I split a photo/plaque package. Probably 75.00 a piece.
My mother is coming down to see me. So pjs and I want to take her out to eat somewhere nice on us.
FIL, we threatened not to get him anything this year..he has been credit card happy all year, so DH told him we aren't exchanging. A box came in the mail from him 2 days ago, so I have to find something for him now. maybe 50.00?

We usually spend $50-100 on his parents. His family doesn't do the expensive gifts. This year we spent a little more though.
I have no dad to buy for, just my mom, and I usually really splurge on her. It varies from year to year. One year I spent $500 on her This year I only spent about $100 so far.

Not a lot- about $50 each on my parents (they get mad if we spend more). In DH's family, we do Secret Santa, so we only buy gifts for the person we picked, with a $25 limit. But we usually bring food, etc. to his parents'. They also don't like for us to spend on them because we have a lot of expenses at the moment.

there is no hard fast rule about how much. It realy depends.
I think one year we bought each set of parents a digital camera.
This year, my in-laws are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and we are sending them on a cruise with help from BIL.
We just put new carpeting in my parents condo.
Let's just say we will probably just send them something as a token.
