What are your favorite pregnancy books
So far I read Jenny McCarthy's book, Belly Laughs. I also heard on here that I should get Baby Bargains.
Any other suggestions? I don't want anything that will turn me in to a hypochondriac though!

Re: What are your favorite pregnancy books
Don't get what to expect.
My Dh loves the expectant father.
I have this cool magazine type book that shows real pictures of the baby as it develops. It is kind of old. Someone had it from thier PG and gave it to me. I't s called "As your baby grows: From conception to birth". It says "from the publishers of the american baby magazine." If you can find it at a library.. It's pretty awesome. It has a few pages for each month and Dh and I love to read it together each month!
It is listed as American baby's AS YOUR BABY GROWS, Volume 6, Number1, 1997

I like Your Pregnancy Week by Week. I read about 10 pages each week as I get to that week.

Re: What are your favorite pregnancy books
I like :
your pregnancy week by week what to expect when expecting what to eat when you are expecting - I liked it. It gave me an idea of what I should be eating in the beginning when I was clueless.
I have baby bargains - it's good. But I find it overwhelming .
I also bought what to expect the first year, but haven't touched that yet.

I've skimmed through Baby Bargains. Wouldn't call it a favorite pregnancy book but it had some helpful tips for registry.
Week by Week was given to me and the rest I get from the library. Great resource! Try before you buy!

This is my favorite book by far. I don't even look at what to expect while you are expecting

Re: What are your favorite pregnancy books
I liked "ina may's guide to childbirth", but it is geared towards women who want a natural childbirth. If you want a natural childbirth, then I recommend that one.

Re: What are your favorite pregnancy books
What to Expect- a lot of people don't like it, but I found it helpful, but I also read a lot of websites too
I don't know how I would have even begun to pick things for the registry without Baby Bargains.
