footprints/handprints at hospital
i am delivering at Good Samaritan Hospital. do they provide you with the foot and handprints or should i bring something for them?

I am not sure about that hospital. But IF they do it, they will stamp whatever you ask for. And I don't believe any hospitals stamp the hands anymore, just the feet (if they even do that). Were I delieverd they stamped the feet on a paper of theirs (gave to us) and on my baby book that I brought.

ok, thank you.
so they will give me their footprints on plain white paper and i can bring a baby book or maybe cardstock or something? i was thinking of framing the feet.

I brought a piece of card stock for them to take the imprints on. They didn't do the hands bc they said it was too hard to get DS to spread his hand out.

My hospital (NS Plainview) gave me a footprint certificate & also put his footprints in my baby book. They don't do handprints.
Just make sure you have whatever you want to footprint handy in the delivery room. I had an emergency c-section, and they asked me what I wanted stamped before I went in..glad they remembered because I was drugged to think about it

YES - they provide you with a white pice of paper that has there stats on it as well as the FOOTPRINTS! I also had the nurse put his footprints in his baby book.

I delivered both babies there and I got the sheet w/their footprints from them....but I didn't get anything w/handprints.

My hospital gave me a certificate with DS footprints, and I also brought my baby book for them to stamp also.

the hospital where i delivered (st. catherines) dosnt do them anymore. i wish i did it myself

We delivered at St Charles ~ They don't offer but if you ask and bring a card stock they will do it. Our lamaze class gave us a great completion certificate (was so pretty) so we brought that & they stamped his feet only ~ it was beautiful! I framed it & put it in DS's room
