Thanks,Tara

Re: Airbrush tan..

I heard that Brazilian bronze in Merrick is good and looks very natural

I got the mystic tan twice in this picture and I think it looks bad on me

I did the airbrush there once and it was terrible. I had streaks down my legs, it did not spray evenly at all.

You're better off going to one where a person physically sprays you.

Re: Airbrush tan..

I went to Brazil Bronze in Great Neck for airbrush tan for my wedding. I was happy with it, full body cost $50 and it lasted just about a week.

Re: Airbrush tan..

I've had the airbrush tan at Beach Bum in Plainview....the kind where they spray the tan directly on you. It was pretty good. The color on the skin around my fingers didn't blend in very well though. I think it was $40 for one session.

I went a couple of days before my last trip to Florida. It was good enough for me to wear a bathing suit without feeling like caspar the ghost.

The tan started to fade in about 5 days and was pretty much gone by day 8 or so.

I've also had the Mystic Tan where you stand in a booth and the machine-thing sprays you. I hated that. My legs were all streaky, and the color did not blend well. When it started to fade, my skin was all blotchy. I wouldn't recommend the Mystic Tan for that reason.

Re: Airbrush tan..

I just went to sunset tan (in NJ). I chose the lightest coloring and think it came out great. Just enough color to not look like a ghost and not like a burnt orange.
Someone sprays you, it's not a booth.

I have used Linda at Brazil Bronze in GN quite a few times and have been really happy! Now I'm too fat and embarrassed to go back Chat Icon

Re: Airbrush tan..

Rain Day Spa does it......I think its about $35. Takes about 10 minutes or so. Someone actually does it to you and there are no streaks, no orange........and lasts about a week.......gradually gets darker.

Oh I forgot to add....it's in Woodbury.

Thank you. I don't want that. I am so afraid of that happening.

I did the one at beach bum and it was horrible!!! I have also tried the mystic tan at palm beach tan. While its not nearly as bad, I still wasn't happy with the results. I also had issues with it when it started to wear off. Like areas around my bra, the color would come off and stain my bra, days later!

Re: Airbrush tan..

I had it done for my wedding. I am extremely fair and although it wasn't dark, it looked great, very natural. It was done at a place across from Danfords in PJ, I can't remember the name. It was $80.00.

This sounds so funny. I'm picturing like a Sex in the City scene with a bunch of women lying down with stained thongs being tanned and drinking martinis shooting the shiit. Cool concept thoughChat Icon
