4 months-infant nasal congestion?

My DD has awful nose congestion, nothing comes out but she wakes up at night gagging on it as it must drain through her mouth.. I use cool mist vaporizer, i have a warm one and all that good stuff..
She is constantly gagging though..ick..
I am wondering if she has seasonal allergies..i cant even elevate her at night as she is a roller...

Should i call the Ped or does this still seem common at 4 months?

You can try the saline spray and then try to bulb out as much as you can.

Take DC into the bathroom with you and steam it up from the shower. The steam will help break up all the mucus.

my dd at 2 months had a very stuffy nose at night. never cleared up either. she would snort and snore and make awful noises all night. and she wasn't sleeping well either. took her the ped. ped didn't see anything, but said to take her to an ENT. we did, and he cleaned her nose out for starters, but also said she had a sinus infection and put her on antibiotics. it was the first time in a month that she was able to breathe quietly at night.

DS has had the SAME gongestion since he's 2 weeks old. It has not gone away!!! I toko him to the Dr. twice for this already. The last time the Dr. drained it with this weird looking machine thing. It came back again a week later. I feel so bad, we bought 2 humidifiers and I do the saline and the squeeze suction thingy everyday!!!

Wow, i wonder if i shoudl make sure it isnt a sinus infection...she has no fever but wow..she seems like she has allergies
