Horrible indigestion - HELP!

Horrible indigestion - HELP!
I have the WORST indigestion right now.  I took 3 Tums about an hour ago and it did squat.
Is there anything else I can do to alleviate this? I think I overate at my in-laws today.

have you tried drinking milk, I find that helps me alittle...

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in warm water ...about 1/2 cup to a cup of warm water.
I had it so bad once I was in tears at 3am, googling at home cures and that was the one that worked within 5 minutes for me.
It was gross but I now swear by it!

I just did a search on this last night - it's so bad for me all day long.
They have a ton of remedies. I only tried chewing gum - and that didn't work.
Hope it's better real soon! Off to pop yet another Tums now!

Tums seems to work a little bit. Sitting straight up helps, its much worse if I lay down. Its painful!! Feel better.
